Meet Emrys & Evander – two healthy, affectionate Yorkshire Terrier puppies who grew up in our home in Scunthorpe. They were puppy-pad trained, vaccinated, and full of love before joining their new families.

Two affectionate little gentlemen with bright eyes and bigger personalities, they were raised in a calm home environment and brought laughter, routine and comfort to their new families in Scunthorpe and beyond.

Getting to know Emrys and Evander

Yorkies are small, confident companions who adore human company. Emrys and Evander reflect the best of the breed: alert, people-focused and quick to learn. They’re already puppy-pad trained, used to everyday household sounds and gentle handling, and they travel happily in a carrier or car seat.

Meet Emrys

Emrys is the thoughtful one. He watches first, decides fast and then trots in with a wagging tail. He prefers gentle play, enjoys puzzle toys and settles quickly after a cuddle. His calm, responsive nature made him a good match for a quieter household or a family with school-age children. Like our other dogs, he was routinely health-checked and kept on schedule with vaccinations and parasite prevention.

Meet Evander

Evander is a cheerful explorer. He’s the first to greet you, the first to find the sunny spot on the rug and the last to turn down a game with a soft toy. He loves short training sessions and thrives on praise. Evander would suit an active household that enjoys teaching tricks and taking short walks. Like Emrys, he was puppy-pad trained and comfortable with grooming, nail clipping and gentle brushing.

Health and care

Both boys are healthy and thriving on a good diet, and are up to date with their care routine, including: vaccinations and deworming up to date, and a microchip.

Both boys have been health-checked, and we’re confident anyone who gets to know them will find happy, well-socialised little companions.

Everyday care and training

Yorkshire Terriers are bright and biddable. Keep sessions short and positive and they’ll pick up house rules quickly. Regular brushing, gentle ear care and routine nail trims keep that silky coat comfortable. Emrys and Evander already understood a simple routine: toilet break after naps and meals, a little play, then calm time in a cosy bed. For anyone new to the breed, we always share a simple care guide so the first few weeks start smoothly.

Meeting the boys

You’re welcome to meet the boys in Scunthorpe. We schedule relaxed visits so you can see their personalities without rush, and we’re happy to answer questions about diet, socialisation and first-week routines.

The right home for Emrys or Evander

These boys are small in size but big in heart. They’ll flourish with gentle guidance, consistent routines and kind leadership. A secure garden is lovely but not required; daily enrichment games indoors work just as well. They’ve met friendly adult dogs and have been introduced to leads and harnesses. If you have children, we’ll show them how to greet and carry a small dog safely. If you work from home, expect a cheerful office assistant who naps by your feet.

Before they left for their new homes, we shared a written guide covering first-week feeding, toilet schedules, safe toys and settling at night. Our goal was always a joyful start and a settled first few days.
